Our graduate nurse program is comprised of four complementary components: Hospital & Nursing Orientation: a multi-day introduction to our organization Internships: 9 to 13-week competency-based orientation program Mentorship: 3 month peer support program Nurse Residency Program: 12-month professional development coursework Our program is designed to introduce the graduate and novice nurse into the practice arena with sensitivity to the ever-changing dynamics in our world and environment. With all the stressors inherent to a new job or role, we have purposefully introduced changes to our program to allow a more gradual immersion – with the result being a more confident and satisfied practitioner. Our CAP program (Clinical Advancement Program) offers Nurses the opportunity to advance both in recognition and financial reward. Minimum Qualifications Required: Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree required (BSN preferred). Note, if the BSN or MSN degree is not present on hire, the employee must sign an agreement to obtain a within a specific time frame. Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse. BLS certification (issued through the American Heart Association). Superb interpersonal, communication and collaboration abilities. Competency in electronic patient management systems. Referral Rewards Program Opportunities to advance through the Clinical Advancement Program Pay Range: $38.92 – $55.68. Pay is based on experience, skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
