Foreman - Utility Construction

At HBI, you'll play a key role in delivering quality infrastructure projects while mentoring team members, maintaining safety standards, and helping drive project success.
What You'll Do
- Lead, train, and motivate a crew of 2-6 team members
- Coordinate daily and weekly job site activities to meet production goals
- Operate heavy equipment including backhoes, trenchers, plows, tampers, boring equipment, and more
- Read CATV and telephone prints and plan cable routes
- Ensure safe, efficient, and productive job site operations
- Conduct equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance needs
- Track materials, complete daily reports, and maintain project documentation
- Communicate with management to keep projects running smoothly
- Help develop crew members and create a positive team environment
What We're Looking For
- 1-2 years of utility construction experience, including equipment operation and/or crew leadership
- Ability to read CATV and telephone prints
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of utility construction safety practices
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
- Ability to obtain a Class A CDL
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Willingness to travel throughout the state and stay out for a week or more as needed
