Middle School Math Teacher
Reports To: Principal Adam Colantuoni
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, student-centered Middle School Math Teacher to join our school community. The ideal candidate is passionate about mathematics instruction, committed to building strong relationships with students, and dedicated to creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and social-emotional growth of all learners.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging math instruction aligned to the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks
Create a positive, inclusive, and academically rigorous classroom environment
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Use formative and summative assessment data to monitor student progress and inform instruction
Implement classroom management practices that support student learning and development
Collaborate with grade-level teams, special education staff, ESL staff, and school counselors
Communicate regularly with students and families regarding academic progress and behavior
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives
Support students’ social-emotional development and foster a growth mindset
