Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is a critical member of the healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards of evidence-based practice and organizational policy. This part-time position involves working autonomously within the scope of professional standards and adhering to regulations set by the TN and/or VA State Board of Nursing.
About the Role
- Provide patient care that is tailored to the age and developmental level of assigned patients.
- Delegate care provision to other members of the nursing team as needed, consistent with role, licensure, and scope of practice.
- Conduct thorough nursing assessments and deliver care as an integral part of the care team.
- Achieve favorable outcomes while delivering safe and high-quality healthcare.
- Accurately report and document patient information in electronic medical records and documentation systems.
Requirements
- A minimum of an Associate's degree or diploma from an accredited Nursing program.
- Valid and active RN licensure from the appropriate state.
- AHA BLS certification, with additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, and NRP required depending on the area of assignment.
Work Details
- Shift: Night shifts are required for this position.
