Holsclaw Building & Property Services, LLC is a family-owned and operated construction company with approximately 30 years of experience serving Iron River and the surrounding communities.
We perform a variety of residential construction, remodeling, general contracting, and property improvement projects. We're a small, hands-on company that values quality workmanship, dependability, and people who take pride in what they build.
We're Hiring an Experienced Carpenter
We're looking for a dependable carpenter with previous construction experience to join our crew.
You do not need to be a lead carpenter or supervisor. We're looking for someone who has a good working knowledge of carpentry, is comfortable using construction tools and equipment, and can contribute to a project without needing to be taught the basics.
If you're reliable, know your way around a jobsite, and take pride in doing quality work, we'd like to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Residential framing and general carpentry
- New construction and remodeling
- Interior and exterior finish work
- Installing windows, doors, siding, trim, and other building materials
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling building materials
- Working from plans, measurements, and instructions
- Assisting with other construction and property improvement projects as needed
- Maintaining a clean and safe jobsite
- Working alongside our crew and local subcontractors
What We're Looking For
- Previous carpentry or residential construction experience
- Working knowledge of common construction tools and techniques
- Ability to accurately measure and cut materials
- Dependable and punctual
- Strong work ethic
- Attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a crew
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of construction work
Leadership experience is NOT required.
