What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Theater Technician Assistant position at Holly Springs?
Theatre Technician Assistants will provide assistance for the operation of production equipment at the Holly Springs Cultural Center (primary focus) and at other Town venues.
Familiarity with all of the following with a working knowledge in at least one is required:
- professional audio mixing consoles and other audio equipment, such as microphones and speakers
- theatre lighting consoles and equipment, as well as lighting design
- theatre set construction or carpentry
Applicants must be age 18 or older, with a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid North Carolina driver license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Work is performed under the general supervision of the Theatre Production Specialist. Scheduled work hours, including evenings and weekends, will fluctuate based on the employee's availability and skill set as well as the needs of scheduled performances, events, and rentals. Starting pay range is $12-$14 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
