Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman/Independent Contractor to perform maintenance, repair, and general handyman services. This role involves addressing a variety of repair needs across residential or commercial properties, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to high standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance operations, mechanical and electrical diagnostics, plumbing repairs, and general repairs. This position offers flexibility for independent contractors who are experienced in handling diverse repair tasks.
Duties
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs across multiple property types, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general handyman tasks.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and electrical faults using technical proficiency and troubleshooting skills.
- Perform plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, clogged drains, or fixture replacements.
- Complete general repairs including carpentry, drywall patching, door/window adjustments, and other handyman services.
- Utilize knowledge of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) to ensure all work meets safety standards and quality expectations.
- Manage multiple projects independently while adhering to deadlines and client specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment during and after project completion.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding repair needs and project status.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO).
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Electrical diagnostics skills for identifying and resolving electrical problems safely and efficiently.
- Technical proficiency in various repair techniques across plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general handyman services.
- Ability to perform plumbing repairs such as leak fixes or fixture replacements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and tools necessary for performing a variety of repair tasks independently.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: $20.00 - $60.00 per hour
