Position Summary:
As an Assistant Manager, you will partner with your Store Manager to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction and uphold our mission to provide a positive environment for both our customers and employees. We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership skills, who enjoys working with people, is hard-working, and has a passion for the fashion retail industry.
Typical schedule includes 35-40 hours/week. Hourly rate is determined based on experience.
Store hours are 10am-6pm Monday-Saturday, & 11am-5pm on Sundays.
Responsibilities:
- Supports the Store Manager in ensuring the daily operations of the store are completed each day
- Lead by example in providing excellent customer service by going above and beyond to assist customers in their buying experience.
- Support the Store Manager’s development plan for each employee by assisting in training and motivating employees to be successful in their roles.
- Assists the manager in motivating the team to reach sales goals, learning more about the products and brands carried, and how to assist customers with their product selections.
- Continuously leads the team to engage with customers and ensure that each customer is greeted and helped during their visit.
- Assists the manager in maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and workspace.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least 2 years of retail experience (leadership experience is a plus!).
- Strong people skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- A flexible schedule — including weekends and evenings as needed.
