Description:
The Senior Recruiter is responsible for leading full-cycle recruiting efforts across Holliday Rock to support leadership, hard-to-fill, and high-volume hiring needs across the organization. This temporary assignment will focus on Division Manager, executive-level, and CDL driver recruiting while partnering closely with operations leaders, hiring managers, the Talent Manager, and VP of Human Resources to drive recruiting strategy and hiring efforts. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and urgent hiring needs.
Essential functions of the Position:
- TALENT ACQUISITION: Leads full-cycle recruiting efforts for leadership, operational, executive level, and high-volume positions across the organization, including Division Managers and CDL drivers.
- SOURCING: Actively sources candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, job boards, networking events, referrals, and industry connections to maintain a strong talent pipeline for hard-to-fill and critical operational roles.
- CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE: Ensures a positive and professional experience for all candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
- HIRING MANAGER SUPPORT: Partners closely with operations leaders, hiring managers, the Talent Manager to understand staffing needs, develop recruiting strategies, and guide the interview and selection process.
- RECRUITMENT METRICS: Tracks and reports recruiting metrics, hiring progress, staffing updates, and operational hiring needs to support recruiting performance and workforce planning.
- HRIS & COMPLIANCE: Maintains accurate candidate records within ATS/HRIS systems such as UKG and ensures recruiting practices comply with company policies and employment regulations.
- ONBOARDING: Collaborates with Human Resources team members to support onboarding efforts and ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
- EMPLOYER BRANDING: Promotes Holliday Rock culture and values through recruiting efforts, outreach, networking, and hiring events to attract top talent.
- LEADERSHIP SUPPORT: Assists in supporting recruiting operations and overall hiring efforts during the temporary assignment, including helping support recruiting team activities when needed.
- CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Recommends and helps implement improvements to recruiting strategies, systems, processes, and overall hiring efficiency.
Skills and Knowledge:
- High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
- 5 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience preferred.
- Experience recruiting for leadership, operational, executive-level, or CDL driver positions preferred.
- Familiarity with federal and state employment laws related to hiring.
- Experience using ATS/HRIS systems such as UKG, LinkedIn, and Indeed preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Class C driver’s license.
- Ability to travel to job fairs, recruitment events, and other company locations.
- Comfortable working in both office and field settings.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
