Simpson, a leading manufacturer in racing safety products, has an opening for a full-time, first-shift production technician position at its New Braunfels, Texas, location. We are looking for a team-oriented individual with strong technical/mechanical abilities and self-starter attitude.
Responsibilities
· Assemble/repair automotive racing and/or motorcycle helmets
· Inspect helmet components prior to assembly to ensure quality standards are maintained
· Integrate helmets with air and/or electronic systems
· Participate in product/process improvement activities
· Perform other assembly duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Great attention to detail
· Excellent attendance record
· Ability to read and understand technical instructions/documents
· Exceptional organizational skills
· Strong problem solving abilities
· PC Skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
· Works well in fast pace environment
· Excellent attendance record
· Ability to work extended hours and some Saturdays as required
Education:
· Minimum: High School Diploma/GED
Physical Demands
· Able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs
· Frequent standing, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling
