Holland & Knight LLP seeks a mid-level associate to join its Corporate, M&A, and Securities Practice in Portland, Oregon. Ideal candidates will have 2-5 years of experience representing public and private companies, investors, private equity funds, venture capital funds, founders, and/or emerging growth companies in a variety of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, and other commercial and strategic transactions, as well as corporate governance and securities matters. Candidates should have strong working knowledge of acquisition agreements and related transaction documentation, as well as experience drafting the same.
Candidates must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a high degree of maturity and business sense and the ability to effectively manage internal and external client relationships. Excellent academic credentials and experience working in a sophisticated law firm environment are required. - Must be licensed or ready to become licensed in the jurisdiction of hiring office.
- This candidate must reside in the designated jurisdiction at or prior to the time of hire. We believe that there is significant value in working together in person and will expect the candidate to work in the office at least three business days per week.
