Role and responsibilities
The Superintendent will report to the Project Leader and be assigned to a specific community, where they will serve as the on-site owner of quality and craftsmanship. This is a hands-on role built around getting homes to a homeowner-ready standard quickly and correctly.
- Punchout and bluetape completion – Own the speed and accuracy of punchout and bluetape lists at the assigned community, ensuring items are resolved to a high quality standard.
- Hands-on carpentry and repairs – Perform general handyman work directly, correcting punch items and quality issues in the field.
- Subcontractor coordination – Schedule and coordinate subcontractors to keep punchout, bluetape, and other trade work moving on time.
- Safety compliance – Ensure all jobsite work meets safety standards and requirements throughout the community.
- Daily site walkthroughs – Walk each active home daily to track progress and catch quality issues early.
- Daily log upload – Upload daily logs documenting site activity and progress.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in construction
Skills
- Skilled carpentry and general handyman ability
- Excellent quality standards and attention to detail
- Strong ability to prioritize and move quickly without sacrificing accuracy
- Comfortable coordinating subcontractors and vendors on-site
- Ability to perform typical physical demands of a jobsite role, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, and lifting for extended periods in outdoor conditions
Compensation and benefits
- $50,000 salary
