Marketing Director

Holland Engineering is seeking a talented, energetic Marketing Director to lead and direct all marketing, business development, and communication needs for our growing firm. Working closely with the firm’s leadership, the Marketing Director will develop opportunities for new work, oversee all marketing collateral, and spearhead the firm’s communications and identity vision. We are seeking an individual who is committed to design excellence, who thrives in a highly technical environment with team collaboration and who demonstrates a high degree of creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. This opportunity is in our Holland, Michigan office; however, this position will support multiple office locations.

Essential duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop and execute the annual strategic marketing plan for multiple divisions, inclusive of all branded print and web materials, and advertising opportunities.
• Directs and assists research in markets and clients, sharing relevant information with key staff.
• Develop annual marketing budget, monitor resources to ensure consistency with budget and plan, and develop strategy for project-specific marketing activities with key staff.
• Serves as a communication link between offices, disciplines, and corporate resources, sharing marketing activities and efficacy of efforts and supporting ongoing marketing campaigns.
• Manage project proposals, statements of qualification, letters of interest, brochures, and other marketing submittals.
• Create and control all company documents, including newsletters, brochures, key staff resumes, project highlights, business cards, marketing mailings and maintaining Holland Engineering’s branding internally and externally.
• Implement marketing automation strategies (CRM software) to support the firm’s industry growth.
• Manage the company website, social networking, and other online marketing initiatives.
• Takes an active role in industry-specific groups and organizations, including organizing and planning conference sponsorships and attendance.
• Work with senior staff to develop, foster, and maintain contacts and relationships with current and prospective clients.
• Minimal travel if the position requires it.

• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment, tight delivery schedules, and deadlines, as required.
• Proficiency in WordPress, Microsoft Word/Teams/SharePoint, Adobe, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Experience with Graphic Design software is a plus.

Education and Experience:

A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a technical environment and knowledge of business-to-business marketing strategies is required, along with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Public Relations.
