Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Program Manager – Enterprise Epic Refuel to lead a large-scale, enterprise-wide Epic refuel initiative. This role will drive program execution across all phases—from pre-refuel planning through post-refuel stabilization—while acting as the external face of the transformation effort.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Epic refuel methodologies, strong organizational change management (OCM) capabilities, and the ability to engage senior stakeholders across clinical, executive, and technical domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage an enterprise Epic refuel program spanning 18–22 months
- Serve as the primary external program leader, partnering with internal executives and PMs
- Establish and oversee program governance, PMO structure, and delivery framework
- Drive organizational change management (OCM) to ensure adoption across clinical and operational teams
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including clinical, IT, and vendor partners
- Manage resource planning, capacity tracking, and vendor relationships
- Oversee integrated testing, deployment, and stabilization activities
- Track and report program benefits, milestones, and performance metrics
- Ensure alignment with Epic best practices and governance standards
Required Qualifications

- Epic Refuel methodology

- Integrated Testing
- Epic governance best practices
- Proven success in organizational change management (OCM), especially in legacy Epic environments
- Strong program leadership experience with large-scale healthcare IT transformations
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills:
- Ability to engage C-suite executives, clinical leadership, and technical teams
- Experience setting up and managing:
- PMO structures
- Resource and capacity planning
- Vendor management
- Benefits realization tracking
