Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly technical Technical Project Manager (TPM) with strong Google Cloud Platform (GCP) expertise to lead delivery in a fast-paced, evolving environment. This role requires hands-on ownership of execution, strong engineering collaboration, and the ability to bring structure to ambiguous workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and demos
- Drive end-to-end project delivery and ensure timelines are met
- Bring structure to an unstructured environment (define workflows, organize JIRA, document processes)
- Define and track deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Challenge technical decisions and drive clarity (“why” behind solutions)
- Manage engineering teams and proactively identify and mitigate risks
- Establish and improve team operating models and delivery frameworks
- Support API integrations, orchestration layers, and distributed systems
- Work with semi-structured and unstructured data across federated environments
- Collaborate closely with QA to implement testing strategies and quality controls
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience as a Technical Project Manager in cloud-based environments
- Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience with Python scripting and developer workflows
- Familiarity with Tecton, GitHub Actions, and Git-based version control
- Exposure to vector embeddings, AI/ML concepts, or agent development frameworks
- Strong understanding of API integrations and distributed architectures
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Ability to work with both structured and unstructured data systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in AI/ML-driven or data platform teams
- Exposure to federated data systems and modern data architectures
- Product mindset with ability to align technical delivery to business outcomes
