Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background managing application development projects within Agile environments. The ideal candidate will have experience leading multiple concurrent projects, coordinating cross-functional Agile teams, and driving successful project delivery from initiation through implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage one or more small to medium-sized application development projects.
- Create and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, roadmaps, and resource allocations.
- Define project scope, technical requirements, business objectives, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate and monitor project execution across multiple Agile teams and business units.
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and end users to ensure alignment and delivery.
- Track project progress, manage risks/issues, and ensure projects meet cost, quality, and timeline expectations.
- Prepare and communicate project status updates, escalations, and change management activities to stakeholders.
- Support operational readiness and ensure smooth project implementation.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) to ensure adherence to organizational standards and processes.
- Utilize Agile and PPM tools to measure project performance, productivity, and delivery metrics.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to project teams and junior PM staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5 years of project management experience within IT/application development environments.
- Strong experience managing projects in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Prior experience leading application development or systems implementation projects.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with project planning, budgeting, risk management, and delivery oversight.
- Familiarity with Agile tools and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or other Project Management certifications preferred.
- Experience working within a SAFe Agile environment.
- Prior background in systems development or technical support environments.
