Job Description
Seeking a hands-on Workday HCM Test Lead with strong experience testing multiple Workday modules including Core HCM, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll interfaces, Security, and Business Processes.
Responsibilities
- Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and UAT testing across Workday modules.
- Create test plans, test cases, regression suites, and testing documentation.
- Validate Workday configuration changes and downstream impacts.
- Track and manage defects using Digital.ai or similar tools.
- Coordinate with HR, SMEs, and Workday teams for testing and issue resolution.
- Provide testing status, risk updates, and release readiness recommendations.
Required Skills
- 5 years of QA/Testing experience with Workday HCM.
- Strong hands-on testing experience across multiple Workday modules.
- Experience leading testing efforts and executing tests directly.
- Knowledge of Workday business processes, integrations, and configurations.
- Experience with Digital.ai, Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM, or ServiceNow.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
- Experience with Workday semi-annual releases.
- Financial services or regulated environment experience.
- Experience supporting acquisitions or large-scale enterprise changes.
