Overview
Client is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to support a large-scale ERP transformation initiative. This role will focus on designing and delivering impactful training programs aligned with business processes across multiple workstreams. The ideal candidate brings a blend of instructional design expertise, change management awareness, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead instructional design and curriculum development for assigned workstreams (e.g., P2P, AP, C2C, SCM, MDM, Reporting)
- Support overall training strategy, planning, and stakeholder coordination
- Design and develop training materials, including:
- Instructor-Led Training (ILT)
- Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT)
- eLearning modules
- Videos and documentation
- Assist in developing and delivering train-the-trainer programs
- Maintain training plans, timelines, and resource allocation
- Create user guides, job aids, and supporting training content
- Support both in-person and remote training delivery
- Manage SME review cycles to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with technical writing teams for content alignment
- Coordinate LMS uploads and learning deployment with L&D teams
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of overall experience, including:
- 3 years in instructional design, adult learning, and curriculum development
- Hands-on experience designing training for ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of business processes and workflow-based training design
- Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables in complex, matrixed environments
- Experience with synchronous and asynchronous learning solutions
- Proficiency in training tools and methodologies
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint
