Part-Time NJ-Licensed Optometric Physician

We are seeking a Part-Time, NJ-licensed Optometric Physician to join our team of supportive and friendly professionals. Our practice emphasizes high-quality patient care in a comfortable, well-equipped environment where doctors can truly thrive. We practice full-scope optometry and are looking for a patient-focused clinician with strong communication skills who is comfortable in a medical-based setting and eager to continue expanding their clinical expertise.

✨What You’ll Do:

• Deliver a balanced mix of medical eye care & routine refractive services
• Perform contact lens fittings, including multifocals
• Provide specialty services including: Myopia management, Dry eye therapy, Specialty contact lenses, Ocular aesthetic solutions

• Experienced staff and well-trained technicians handle comprehensive pretesting
• Technicians are highly familiar with medical diagnostic protocols
• Thoughtfully scheduled appointments to support quality care (not volume-driven)
• Start at 12–15 patients/day, building up to ~20 patients/day at a comfortable pace
• Located in a safe, affluent area with free parking, conveniently near NYC & Philadelphia

✨Technology & Equipment:

• Modern exam lanes with automated refractors and slit lamps
• Widescreen desktops for charting, patient education, and imaging review
• Advanced diagnostics, including:
• Retinal imaging (on all comprehensive exams),
• Marco/Nidek AR, OCT, VF, Ret- Eval, Anterior Seg Imaging, Topography, Pachymetry & more
• Efficient workflow using iTRUST EHR

✨Schedule & Flexibility:

• Part-time: Fridays & Saturdays to start, with opportunity to expand into additional weekday/(s)
• Saturdays are a shorter workday
• Limited early mornings and evenings to support work-life balance
• 1 hour lunch breaks

• Experience in practicing medical-based optometry
• Interest & experience in dry eye management, myopia control, & specialty lenses
