Are you looking for a fast-paced outdoor role with real, year-round career stability? Holiday Lighting of Tampa Bay is hiring motivated Holiday Light Installers for our busiest season of the year.
While this role kicks off as a seasonal position, we are actively looking for standout crew members to transition into full-time, permanent, year-round roles. Because we own and operate multiple successful outdoor service businesses in the Tampa Bay area, we have the unique ability to keep our best talent employed and growing with us long after the holidays are over.
No prior holiday lighting experience is required! We provide full training. However, because we design high-end, premium displays, a flawless attention to detail is an absolute must. This is a perfect opportunity for installers, landscapers, roofers, and outdoor service professionals who take pride in meticulous craftsmanship and want a long-term home.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):
- Install custom holiday lighting and decor with meticulous attention to detail—ensuring perfectly straight lines, invisible clip placement, and crisp, clean symmetry on every property.
- Handle equipment safely, including moving, setting up, and climbing ladders up to 32 feet.
- Troubleshoot and service lighting displays throughout the holiday season to ensure they remain functional and bright.
- Take down, wrap, and properly pack displays in January with organization and care so they are ready for next year.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and highly professional job site while interacting positively with our clients.
What We’re Looking For (Requirements):
- Obsession with Quality: An eye for detail. You notice when a bulb is loose, a line is crooked, or an extension cord is exposed, and you fix it on the spot.
- Comfortable with Heights: Must be able to work confidently on ladders and roofs.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work outside in varied weather conditions.
- Reliability & Punctuality: Must have a strong work ethic and dependable transportation to get to job sites daily.
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred.
Season & Career Timeline:
- Holiday Season: Late October / early November through mid-to-late January.
- Beyond January: Top-performing installers will be offered immediate placement in one of our sister companies to transition into full-time, year-round outdoor service careers.
