Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces
• Handle janitorial tasks like trash removal, restocking supplies, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces to promote hygiene
• Assist with custodial responsibilities including light maintenance, minor repairs, and facilities upkeep to ensure operational efficiency
• Support industrial cleaning projects when needed, utilizing specialized equipment for large-scale or heavy-duty cleaning tasks
• Participate in residential painting or touch-up work to enhance the appearance of facilities as required
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within commercial or residential settings
• Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet extraction
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending or kneeling comfortably
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and safety
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts
• Previous experience with facilities maintenance or porter duties is highly desirable
