Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and public spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing as needed
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure guest satisfaction
- Follow established safety and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards
- Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Adhere to hotel or facility policies regarding cleanliness and safety protocols
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleaning tasks during scheduled times
- Ensure all assigned areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality is highly desirable; janitorial or industrial cleaning experience is a plus
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, and polishing floors
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated shifts
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties which may include lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving equipment or supplies
- Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn new skills is essential
