Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and efficient check-in and check-out experiences.
- Manage hotel reservations using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Handle guest inquiries via multi-line phone systems and in person, delivering exceptional customer service with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist guests with room assignments, upgrades, special requests, and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, billing details, and room status updates through hotel management software.
- Respond promptly to guest concerns or complaints, applying customer service problem-solving skills to resolve issues effectively.
- Follow hotel emergency procedures during incidents or safety concerns, ensuring guest safety at all times.
- Support night audit processes when required, reconciling daily financial transactions and preparing reports for management.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for new guests and address any on-site issues swiftly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel front desk operations or hospitality management preferred; resort experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or similar platforms.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client communication and guest relations.
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest well-being at all times.
- Experience with night audit procedures is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills in customer service scenarios within a hospitality setting.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
