Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless guest experience during the night shift, providing exceptional customer service, and managing front desk operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly attitude, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while addressing any guest inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions, including billing and payments.
• Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the hotel services and local attractions.
• Assist guests with reservations, changes, or cancellations as needed.
• Conduct nightly audits to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and balanced.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
• Uphold hotel policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts while managing multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in hotel management software is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• A positive attitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
