We are looking for a fun, energetic front desk associate to join our award winning team! The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Moundsville, WV offers an inviting and welcoming atmosphere with the opportunity to grow with a fantastic group, our management company Waterview Hospitality.
Part Time
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department/make reservations
- Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Maintain guest records and update reservation information in the computer system
- Assist with resolving guest complaints or issues in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and organizing documents
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a front desk or customer service role is preferred
- Familiarity with phone systems and office management procedures
- Proficient in computerized reservation systems and basic computer skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information
