Duties
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, bartenders, and support team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards to maintain high-quality culinary offerings
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste
- Operate POS systems for accurate cash handling and sales processing
- Train staff on food handling procedures, customer service excellence, and safety protocols to foster a skilled and motivated team
- Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours
- Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety standards, and IHG Brand standard.
Skills
- Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and food production within fast-paced restaurant settings
- Strong knowledge of POS for sales transactions and reporting
- Proven leadership in supervising teams, managing restaurant operations, and training staff effectively
- Skilled in inventory control, budgeting, and food management to optimize restaurant profitability
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining high standards of hospitality management
- Experience in managing shift schedules, supervising kitchen operations, and overseeing catering or banquet services
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, food handling procedures, and culinary best practices within the hospitality industry
