Opportunity: Waterpark Retail Cashier
Responsible for completing sales transactions and serving of the Pool cabanas. Associate is also responsible for providing excellent guests' service and support to both guests and internal partners while maintaining all service areas in the pool.
Essential Job Functions
- Uses suggestive sales techniques to process order for retail merchandise and flow rider upsells for the day and assists guests with questions and concerns.
- Responsible for following proper cash handling and point of sale procedures during the sales transactions.Â
- Maintains accurate logs of rented or returned retail merchandise items, as well as all flow rider lesson transactions to ensure appropriate inventory levels and product sales.
- Ensure all flow rider guest sales review, understand, and sign flow rider waivers
- Responsible for assisting guests with towels and water park and resort information.
- Serve all guests by providing excellent guest service.
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of towel hut & equipment, retail products and towels including the use of cleaning agents.Â
- Inspect and maintain inventory of all retail products ensuring par levels are consistently maintained as directed by management; identify and report maintenance issues
- Processes all payments i.e. Room Charges, cash, credit card etc.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- High School Diploma preferred or equivalent experience.Â
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform this function using unit of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Frequently standing up and moving about the towel hut.Â
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for at least 8 hours in length.Â
- Handling objects, safety equipment.Â
- Candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs., be able to work long hours/split shifts and be able to handle stressful conditions.
- Schedule may include working holidays and weekends.
