What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Coordinator position at Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Salt Lake City-Airport West?
The Holiday Inn & Suites SLC – Airport West is looking for a detailed and well-organized Sales Coordinator to provide support to the Director of Sales and Director of Food & Beverage. The successful candidate will help with responding to RFP’s, booking the meeting room, booking group blocks, keeping schedules of events, creating group/meeting room contracts, and Banquet Event Orders or BEO’s.
Qualifications:
Two years experience in customer service (hospitality industry is preferred but not required)
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to communicate customer needs and resolve complaints independently.
Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision.
Must possess basic computer skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to identify and assist in the development of accounts.
Follow all company policies and procedures, verify uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 15 pounds without assistance.
Candidate must be well organized, responsive and have a “Team Player” attitude
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00-$20.00 per hour plus commission
