Lot Technician / Recon Coordinator

Zoom Auto Sales is a growing independent used car dealership on State Street in Midvale. We buy quality vehicles, recondition them through trusted local vendors, and sell them with a straightforward process. We have a well-built recon system. We need the person who keeps it moving.

You'll own each car from the moment it arrives until it's photographed and on the front line, and again when it's sold and ready for delivery. You won't be detailing or doing mechanical repair; our vendors handle that. You'll be the one making sure every car gets where it needs to go, nothing sits, and our tracker always tells the truth.

What you'll do

• Visually inspect incoming vehicles and document their condition with photos
• Shuttle cars to and from our mechanic, body, detailing and emissions vendors
• Keep our recon tracker updated daily: status, location and next step
• Handle light mechanical checks: fluids, batteries, tire pressure, lights
• Photograph vehicles for online listings and place window stickers
• Prep sold vehicles for delivery: light vacuum, sticker removal, final walk-around
• Keep the lot clean, organized and staged, and keep track of keys
• Run parts pickups and other errands as needed

What we're looking for

• Valid Utah driver's license and a clean driving record
• Basic mechanical knowledge (you know how to check oil and jump a battery)
• Organized and self-motivated; you follow up without being asked
• Comfortable with a smartphone and web applications
• Dependable, on time, and able to work outdoors in all weather
• Dealership, auction, rental car or fleet experience is a plus but not required

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
