Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of rooms and common areas utilizing IHG Way of Clean standards and processes
- Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping tile floors and vacuuming carpets,
- Ensure all sanitation standards are met by properly disinfecting bathrooms and high-touch surfaces
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests and maintaining a friendly attitude
- Follow established housekeeping management protocols to ensure consistency and efficiency in daily operations
Experience
- Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning is highly desirable
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and polishing methods
- Hands-on experience with sanitation practices in hospitality or janitorial settings
- Familiarity with laundry procedures and equipment operation
- Background in hotel housekeeping or custodial work is advantageous
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently, including heavy lifting and outdoor work activities
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout shifts
