What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Attendant position at Moody Gardens, Inc.?

Position Overview:

To provide a high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel. Be able to clean

17 rooms within an 8 hour day in accordance with hotel standards.

Essential Functions:

To clean the hotel rooms quickly, neatly and efficiently.

To ensure guestroom corridors are clean.

To maintain a neat and clean cart, storage rooms and supplies.

To maintain a friendly and approachable attitude toward guests and staff.

To maintain a clean and professional appearance.

To respect all hotel equipment and property and use with care.

Document any deficiencies within the guestrooms and corridors.

Label and submit all lost and found items to the housekeeping supervisor.

Complete all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience required:

A formal education is not required to become a housekeeper. Housekeeping or janitorial cleaning experience required. We will provide on-the-job training. Hotel guestroom attendants must be able to work quickly and efficiently without invading their guests' privacy and should have a neat, clean appearance.
