Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by properly disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
- Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to ensure a spotless appearance
- Manage janitorial tasks including waste disposal, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleaning equipment
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and professionally
- Follow safety protocols and cleaning procedures to ensure a safe environment for yourself and others
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial background preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and polishing methods
- Ability to perform sanitation tasks efficiently while adhering to health standards
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Experience with laundry processes and handling various cleaning supplies and equipment
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping practices or hospitality industry standards is a plus
