Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven and dynamic Hotel Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts, maximize revenue, and strengthen our market position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, maintaining strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities to drive occupancy and revenue growth. Candidate should also be local and familiar with the market.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement effective sales plans to achieve hotel revenue targets across rooms, events, conferences, and catering.
- Identify market trends and adjust strategies to maintain competitiveness.
Business Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other partners.
- Actively source new accounts and business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and industry events.
Client Relationship Management
- Manage key accounts to ensure repeat business and long-term client satisfaction.
- Provide personalized service and solutions to meet client needs for meetings, events, and group bookings.
Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with the front desk to support lead production and identify corporate opportunities
- Partner with the operations and banquet teams to ensure flawless execution of guest stay
Performance & Reporting
- Track and analyze sales performance, preparing weekly reports for hotel leadership.
- Monitor competitor activity and recommend initiatives to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in hotels.
- Strong network within the corporate, travel, and events market.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
