Responsibilities
- Welcome guests during late-night hours with friendly professionalism, providing exceptional customer service and addressing their needs promptly.
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar hospitality reservation platforms.
- Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing, reservations, and revenue reports while completing detailed shift reports.
- Oversee hotel security by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting visual inspections of the premises, and enforcing emergency procedures when necessary.
- Handle all incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, providing information about hotel services and assisting with guest requests or issues.
- Maintain guest relations by resolving concerns swiftly through customer service problem-solving techniques and clear client communication.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to ensure the property’s safety and cleanliness standards are upheld throughout the night.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, ideally within a resort or hotel environment.
- Strong knowledge of property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or equivalent platforms used in hotel management.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and problem resolution.
- Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse guests.
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, security protocols, and night audit processes to ensure guest safety at all times.
- Exceptional phone communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette to handle inquiries confidently during overnight shifts.
- Previous experience working with hospitality reservation systems and understanding of front desk operations is preferred.
- Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency will be considered an asset for engaging with a diverse clientele.
