Housekeeper

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through carpet cleaning, floor care, and custodial tasks
• Ensure all sanitation standards are met by properly disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests and ensuring their satisfaction with the cleanliness of the space
• Manage janitorial supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
• Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as scheduling or coordinating cleaning routines when required

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments
• Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and safety procedures
• Ability to perform floor care including carpet cleaning and polishing
• Skilled in laundry operations and garment handling
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Experience with hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is a plus
• Familiarity with cooking-related tasks can be beneficial for multi-purpose household roles
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
