Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression
  • Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using hotel management software
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and proactive solutions
  • Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and special requests
  • Operate multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to assist callers promptly
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs swiftly
  • Support night audit procedures to reconcile daily transactions and ensure financial accuracy
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experiences
  • Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure safety, security, and guest satisfaction
  • Assist in managing guest relations by fostering a welcoming environment throughout their stay

Skills

  • Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse guests effectively
  • Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and multi-line phone system proficiency
  • Knowledge of hotel management systems and reservation software is preferred
  • Ability to handle night audit responsibilities with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
  • Familiarity with resort or hotel operations, including guest relations and hospitality standards
