Duties
- Conduct nightly audits of all hotel transactions using property management systems (PMS) such as HotelKey, ensuring accuracy in billing, reservations, and guest accounts
- Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and handling guest inquiries with professionalism and warmth
- Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve issues using customer service problem-solving skills, maintaining positive guest relations
- Monitor hotel security through CCTV surveillance and perform routine safety checks in accordance with hotel emergency procedures
- Handle multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, make reservations, and communicate with guests and staff effectively using phone etiquette
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and financial summaries for management review
- Assist with reservation management by updating guest information and coordinating with hospitality reservation systems
Experience
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment
- Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns efficiently and courteously
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve our diverse clientele effectively
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and security protocols to ensure guest safety at all times
- Previous night audit experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Excellent communication skills, including phone communication and multi-line phone system operation
