Breakfast Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional breakfast experience for our guests. Your primary focus will be on food service, ensuring that the breakfast area is clean, well-stocked, and inviting. You will interact with guests to ensure their needs are met and assist them with any inquiries they may have.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the breakfast area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and stocked with food and beverages.
• Prepare and present breakfast items according to hotel standards.
• Provide excellent guest relations by greeting guests warmly and assisting them with their breakfast selections.
• Operate cash register for any transactions related to breakfast services.
• Monitor food quality and freshness, discarding any expired items as necessary.
• Assist in catering events as needed, ensuring timely delivery of food services.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during breakfast service.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for help or additional services.

Skills

• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of food service practices and health regulations.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and basic accounting skills.
• Strong guest relations skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience with catering or delivery driver roles is a plus.
• Proficiency in using OpenTable or similar reservation systems is beneficial.
• A passion for coffee and beverage service is appreciated.
