Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect guest rooms thoroughly, including beds, bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures to meet cleanliness standards.
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, linens, and other amenities to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Perform routine cleaning of public areas like hallways, lobbies, and elevators to maintain a pristine environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the appropriate department promptly.
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe workspace for yourself and colleagues.
- Adhere to all health and hygiene regulations, including proper disposal of waste and use of personal protective equipment.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or requested by management.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety protocols is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
