Duties
- Public areas, and back-of-house spaces using industry-standard techniques and equipment
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure a spotless appearance
- Assist with hotel setup tasks such as moving furniture, stocking supplies, and preparing meeting or event spaces
- Conduct routine janitorial duties including trash removal, restocking amenities, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces
- Support the maintenance of cleanliness in laundry areas, storage closets, and service corridors
- Follow safety protocols during industrial cleaning tasks and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure all areas meet brand standards and guest expectations
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning services, custodial work or janitorial roles within hospitality or industrial settings
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet extraction, buffing, and tile maintenance
- Familiarity with hotel operations or hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to health and safety standards
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and order
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and management
- Experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required
