We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), electrical equipment, plumbing, and facilities equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues using schematics, electrical equipment repair techniques, and tools such as ohmmeters.
• Perform carpentry, painting, welding, plumbing system maintenance, and other handyman tasks to maintain the interior and exterior of the property.
• Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for building automation systems to optimize facility performance.
• Use hand tools, schematics, and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems efficiently.
• Lead small maintenance projects or oversee contractors for specialized repairs while ensuring safety standards are met.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used in accordance with MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) procedures.
• Respond promptly to guest requests related to facilities issues with professionalism and a focus on customer service excellence.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC system repair and building interior maintenance.
• Proficiency in electrical work including electrical equipment repair, wiring, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting with tools like ohmmeters.
• Skilled in plumbing system maintenance and repair as well as general facilities maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, welding, and plumbing repairs.
• Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for building automation systems.
• Ability to read technical schematics and operate hand tools effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate with team members and assist guests efficiently.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of MRO practices for maintaining facilities equipment over time.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
