Guest Service Representative
PRIOR HOTEL EXPERIENCE STRONGLY PREFERRED!
The Holiday Inn Express & Suites is looking for a few upbeat, outgoing and friendly people to join our team. Previous hotel experience required. Experience with the property management system HotelKey a plus. A flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is needed with no exceptions. Preference given to those whose availability includes overnights as well.
Guest Service Representatives serve as the primary contact for all guests throughout their stay and acts as a coordinator for all other departments while making reservations, checking guests in and out of the hotel, processing reports and completing other assigned tasks/duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work within the brand and company's standards
- Accurately execute/maintain reservations, arrivals, and departures
- Responsible for cash balancing and credit card processing
- Learn emergency procedures of hotel and how to handle each situation
- Protect guest's privacy including room number and personal information
- Know makeup of hotel and surrounding area including local attractions
- Complete daily reports and procedures as required by management
- Keep work area and back office clean and organized
- Resolve guest complaints/concerns quickly, efficiently, and professionally
- Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Cross train and assist in all other departments as needed
- Ensure security of building and safety of guests
- Other duties and items assigned by manager
