Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, carpets, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Perform floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain spotless surfaces throughout the property.
- Restock supplies like towels, toiletries, linens, and other amenities to meet guest needs efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and recreational spaces to uphold overall hotel standards.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and continued quality standards.
- Assist with janitorial tasks during special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning initiatives involving industrial cleaning equipment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles; hospitality experience is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and the use of janitorial equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout shifts.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning tools and supplies preferred; previous housekeeping management experience is a plus.
