Job Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented team member to join our housekeeping team. This position includes both housekeeping and laundry responsibilities, working 2–3 days per week plus every other weekend. Additional hours may be available during the summer season.
Schedule:
- 2–3 days per week
- Every other weekend required
- Housekeeping shift: Begins at 9:00 AM and ends when assigned rooms (“board”) and side work are completed
- Laundry shift: Begins at 8:30 AM and ends when all laundry duties are finished
We guarantee a 3:00 PM check-in time for guests, so our goal is to have rooms completed by then; however, end times may vary depending on business levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Laundry Duties:
- Strip linens from all departing rooms
- Wash, dry, and fold all hotel linens
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of laundry area
- Ensure all housekeeping storage areas are fully stocked
Housekeeping Duties:
- Clean and prepare guest rooms for new arrivals
- Service occupied stayover rooms within brand time standards
- Clean and maintain public and common areas throughout the hotel
- Follow cleanliness and safety standards at all times
Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to stay on task in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to stand, bend, and lift throughout shift
