Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sheldon, Iowa is seeking a professional and highly motivated individual for a Front Desk position. We are seeking someone with great customer service skills who enjoys interacting with people. This role is 1–2 shifts per week, with every other weekend required. Shifts are 3 PM–11 PM, Training will need 2 weeks minimum of 4 days per week from 8am to 3pm . Additional hours may be available through cross-training for needed 7am-3pm shift. Holidays rotate among staff.
Main Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests professionally
- Check guests in and out, verify IDs, and assign rooms
- Answer phones and help with reservations
- Provide information about hotel services and local attractions
- Handle guest questions and concerns
- Process payments, balances, and daily receipts
- Communicate with housekeeping about room status
- Help with light cleaning and laundry as needed
Requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable interacting with people
- Basic computer and math skills
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $14.50 per hour
