Summary
As a Hotel Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering warm hospitality and efficient service. Reported to the Front Office Manager, you will manage guest check-ins/outs, reservations, and inquiries with poise using OPERA and other PMS tools. Your role emphasizes exceptional customer service, clear phone communication, and proactive guest assistance to ensure a seamless stay.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly at the front desk and provide a warm, professional welcome.
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures using hotel PMS (e.g., OPERA) and reservation systems; validate rates, special requests, and room assignments.
- Answer multi-line phone lines, route inquiries, and handle guest reservations and modifications with accuracy and courtesy.
- Provide accurate information about hotel services, local area recommendations, and emergency procedures; respond to guest concerns with timely, proactive solutions.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction; maintain detailed guest records and notes.
