As a Hotel Maintenance Handyman, you will play a vital role in keeping our hotel facilities in top condition. Your hands-on skills and proactive approach will ensure that everything from electrical systems to plumbing and general repairs are handled efficiently. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals
- Conduct repairs involving welding, residential painting, and other handyman tasks to uphold property standards
- Troubleshoot issues with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and use tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical problems
- Maintain facility equipment and systems through preventive maintenance schedules using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software
- Supervise or assist with projects involving facilities upgrades or renovations, ensuring safety and quality standards are met
- Respond promptly to guest repair requests, providing excellent customer service while resolving issues efficiently
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities, including welding and electrical work
- Maintain Swimming pool
- Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or building repair within a hospitality or residential setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems, including troubleshooting with ohmmeters and working with PLCs
- Skilled in welding, residential painting, and general handyman tasks
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience in maintenance teams is preferred
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking
