Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and private residences, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain impeccable floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing various flooring types to ensure a pristine appearance
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to guarantee guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Follow established protocols for industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, including deep cleaning of carpets, upholstery, and other high-touch areas
- Adhere to safety standards and proper use of cleaning chemicals to promote a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
- Manage janitorial duties efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all housekeeping tasks are completed promptly and to the highest standards of cleanliness
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and procedures enhances your ability to deliver exceptional service
- Hands-on experience with floor care techniques such as waxing, polishing, and carpet extraction is advantageous
