Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and well-stocked throughout service hours
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning dining areas, food prep zones, and equipment in accordance with food safety procedures
- Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu items, and provide friendly in-person customer service to enhance their experience
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures diligently to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including warming trays, coffee machines, and other small appliances
- Handle manual tasks such as setting tables, replenishing supplies, and processing cash or POS transactions accurately when needed
- Support team members during busy periods by assisting with food handling, restocking supplies, and maintaining a welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, catering, or hospitality is highly preferred; culinary or banquet experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures to uphold health standards
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude that makes guests feel valued and comfortable
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing inventory levels
- Experience with POS systems or cash handling is advantageous
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift weight safely (such as trays or supplies), and perform manual handling tasks comfortably
