Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas
- Lead, motivate, and train housekeeping staff to maintain consistent quality standards and foster a team-oriented atmosphere
- Conduct inspections to ensure all cleaning tasks meet brand standards, safety regulations, and guest expectations
- Manage laundry operations efficiently, ensuring timely processing of linens and guest clothing items
- Oversee custodial responsibilities such as trash removal, supply replenishment, and equipment maintenance
- Support management in inventory control of cleaning supplies and linens, ensuring cost-effective usage
Qualifications
- Proven supervising or leadership experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial roles within hospitality or hotel environments
- Strong background in cleaning techniques, including commercial cleaning practices and laundry operations
- Demonstrated management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team effectively
- Experience with hotel or hospitality housekeeping management preferred
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
